A fantastic place with great wellness arena which has sections for families with children, mixed and private area for traditional nude European Spa experience. Worth mentioning is the sauna with entertainment system and huge screen that can be moved to allow view to outside. A great experience not to miss is the time of “Aufguss” in the saunas. Every day highlights are breakfast and dinner as the food served is just excellent with a list of great wine from “Südtirol” and other areas in Italy starting from 25 Eur per 75cl bottle.
The resort is located about 15km from wonderful and mild Meran which can be easily visited on foot or by bicycle which is a free service offered by the hotel. There’s lots of different activities in winter and summer so one has not to fear extra kilos at the end of vacations.
The Quellenhof with no doubts deserves 5 stars from a infrastructure point of view but has room for improvement in terms of service quality. On one hand the Quellenhof ***** does not reach the top of the top wellness resorts like Schalber *****S but, on the other hand it’s still affordable for mid class folks like me and that’s just great.
