About my professional life!

In 1987 I graduated within the best 10% from the University of Applied Sciences Zurich as Business Economist FH. My professional career started as Sales Representative in IBM. After three successful years of overachieving my quotas I moved to a Market Development role where I broadened my functional skills and experience.

In 1993 I decided to leave IBM in order to gain experience as a Manager leading the Finance and Administration department of a Swiss Company in Building / Construction industry. Five years later in 1999 I joined again the IT industry and in the following years I've lead Finance & Administration / Operations for IBM Global Services in Switzerland and was CFO for the Swiss legal entities of BMC Software and Sun Microsystems.

From 2008 to 2011 I was based in Moscow supporting the Managing Director (co-lead) providing senior Leadership and Management Capacity to the local Management Team and Organization. Some time later I was asked to also take on Business Operations for ZAO Sun Microsystems which operated a buy/sell model for Hardware products and on shore Services covering all Russia from the office in Moscow and with offices in Almaty, Kazakhstan and Kiev, Ukraine covering other Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). In 2009/2010 Sun Microsystems was taken over by Oracle.

In 2011 I was promoted to become EECIS Business Development Manager responsible for the geographical clusters CIS, Southern Eastern Europe and Central Eastern Europe for Oracle Hardware. As of June 1st, 2013 I was promoted IC5 having successfully passed the Oracle EMEA Promotion Board process.

From June 1st until November 30th, 2013 I was given the trust to act as Interim General Manager for Oracle Hardware ZAO in Moscow for CIS including the Russian Federation.
